Paris day five: four public streams and several later films
The October 2 calendar separates public livestreams from invitation-only shows, digital presentations and films released later.
A full Friday with different kinds of access
Paris Fashion Week’s spring and summer 2027 womenswear season reaches its fifth day Friday. The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode lists presentations from Leonard Paris, Undercover and Marine Serre in the morning, followed by a succession of shows through the evening. The calendar is useful not only for names and times, but also because it distinguishes public livestreams from invitation-only events, digital presentations and films that will be published later.
That distinction shapes responsible coverage. A scheduled event confirms that a house is presenting, but it does not establish a collection’s palette, construction or mood. Runway Fashion does not claim attendance and will not turn a calendar listing into a description of unseen clothes. We use the organizer’s schedule and designer channels to identify what readers can actually access.
Four confirmed livestreams
Loewe is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. Paris time with a livestream. The house’s own site also promoted the October 2 presentation by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. Issey Miyake follows at 1 p.m.; the brand confirmed that its spring and summer 2027 collection would stream on its website and official Instagram account. Casablanca’s 2:30 p.m. show, titled “Amor e Progresso” on the house’s site, also carries a public stream.
Yohji Yamamoto is scheduled at 7 p.m. Paris time. The designer’s official site identifies the presentation as the spring and summer 2027 collection and provides a live-from-Paris page. These confirmations tell readers where and when material is expected. They do not, by themselves, provide evidence for a visual review before the streams or archived films are available.
Invitation-only does not mean invisible forever
The official calendar lists Lanvin at 3:30 p.m., Ottolinger at 4:30 p.m., Givenchy at 5:30 p.m. and Victoria Beckham at 8 p.m. as invitation-only shows with films to be revealed later. Givenchy’s house page separately confirms Sarah Burton as artistic director and the October 2 show time. Those later releases can support collection analysis once they provide a stable record readers can inspect.
Other entries use presentation formats. Leonard Paris runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Undercover from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Marine Serre from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. by appointment, Jitrois from 2 to 6 p.m. and Reverie by Caroline Hú from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The calendar marks several of these for digital material. A presentation may be just as significant as a runway show, but its access and publication rhythm are different.
What the calendar can support
Friday’s schedule supports one immediate conclusion about distribution: Paris Fashion Week reaches the public through several channels at once. Some houses broadcast in real time, some provide digital presentation material and others publish a film after the physical event. That variety changes the timing of reporting. It does not make a livestreamed collection automatically more important than one released later.
Our Hot / Not edit has been reviewed on October 2 but remains unchanged. A trend needs repeated, visible design evidence across collections—not simply several famous names on the same day. We will look for recurring decisions in silhouette, color, fabric treatment and styling after the houses publish official material. Until then, the accurate story is the schedule and the difference between its access formats.
The weekend ahead
Saturday’s official calendar includes Celine at noon, Vivienne Westwood at 2 p.m., Hermès at 3 p.m., Elie Saab at 4:30 p.m., Comme des Garçons at 5:30 p.m. and Ann Demeulemeester at 6:30 p.m., alongside presentations and digital releases. The calendar marks public streams for Celine, Vivienne Westwood, Elie Saab and Ann Demeulemeester, while the Hermès film is listed for release from 6 p.m. Paris time.
Readers can use the federation’s live calendar for changes and the houses’ own channels for streams and archived material. Our earlier Paris opening report remains available for the week’s structure. AI concept imagery on Runway Fashion is fictional, clearly labeled and separate from coverage of actual designer collections.
